Advocate Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in behavioral or social science, with a preferred emphasis in case management or social work, and/or three to five years' experience in case management or social work.
Perform non-clinical case management. Provide individualized, local support and assistant for Soldier/Veterans and their Families/Caregivers throughout the Solcier's/Veteran's Lifecycle from injury, returning to duty, or transition into the civilian community. Assist in obtaining benefits, educational opportunities, financial and career counseling, monitoring requests. Provide linkage and assistance to local resources, benefit programs and entitlements. Educate,k guide, and counsel participants on comprehensive transition programs. Provide outreach and briefings to both external and internal organizations. Provide support for recovery care and other coordinated requirements plus manage administrative requirements.
