On behalf of our client a global hotel chain, we are seeking an outstanding individual who is competent working independently and is looking for an exciting and flexible full-time sales position.
You will be visiting travel agencies promoting the client's hotels, distributing sales collateral, uncovering new business opportunities and reporting call feedback. You will be responsible for servicing, educating and building relationships in a proactive, professional manner within your assigned territory.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, personable, and confident presenting to individuals and small groups.
The position will be based from home in Dallas and will include a travel territory of Louisiana, Salt Lake City and Denver that you will be required to visit once every 8 weeks.
You will have at least two years field sales experience preferably within the travel industry. You must be PC literacy and confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Strong oral and written communication skills are required. You must have full use of a car.
You will receive an annual salary for this full time role, expense reimbursement and a year-end incentive bonus. Full training and ongoing support will be provided. Some meeting and overnight travel will also be required. This position includes health insurance benefits.
