Responsible for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining applications within the Radiology suite of applications for the Cooper Health system.
Extensive experience working with Radiology applications required, specifically as a PACS administrator or analyst. Experience supporting PACS hardware and software including servers, workstations, storage platforms, and connectivity of DICOM devices required. GE Centricity/UVPACS preferred.
Experience with Powerscribe and RIS workflows required. Epic Radiant experience preferred
Deep knowledge of DICOM, RIS, DICOM Modality Worklist, Voice Recognition applications, and HL7 required.
Knowledge of workstation hardware, operating systems, server environments, network architecture, and active directory.
Responsible to the daily operations of a Radiology department, including support of PACS workstations, radiology users, imaging modalities, orders, results, and imaging workflows.
Analyze system requirements and determine system functional specifications for the needs of upgrades, net new applications, and/or environments.
Gather requirements, provide fit gap analysis and create effective technical solutions for the business needs.
Creation of solution documents, testing scripts, and user education for the supported applications and/or workflows.
Development of scope and timelines for upgrades, enhancements, or new products.
Troubleshoot issues within the supported applications, including their associations and connections to the Epic EMR and core point interface engine.
Design, validate and confirm new or changed functionality with the supported application environment that meets customer and IT department specifications.
Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected as part of application requirement gathering.
Provide consulting support for customized implementation and installation of the software and related integration elements.
Work closely with business users and application team to design, build and execute a comprehensive integration and user acceptance test plan and scripts.
Participation in a scheduled 24x7 On-Call support model
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Epic EMR experience preferred
Experience in Healthcare IT required.
Minimum 5 years hospital based IT experience required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
Experience in healthcare information technology with solid knowledge base of relational databases, programming and file structure creation and transfer preferred.
