This position supports the Naval Sea Systems Command’s Enterprise Information Technology /Command Information Officer ( SEA 00I EITO/CIO). SEA 00I provides management and compliance of Information Management/ Information Technology (IM/IT), cybersecurity, and Information Systems (IS) lifecycle management and compliance for the NAVSEA Enterprise. The NAVSEA Enterprise is comprised of over 35 work sites worldwide including NAVSEA Headquarters (HQ), Program Executive Offices (PEOs), Warfare Centers, Shipyards and Supervisors of Shipbuilding and more than 60,000 users.
Provide applications implementation and integration support to research, test, enhance, debug, implement, and integrate software on multiple platforms to include servers, databases, desktops, and mobile devices for all supported Information Environments. Troubleshoot problems with software that is already in production to alleviate issues related to software applications (such as SharePoint, Forefront Identity Management, Active Directory, Systems Center Configuration Manger, and others). Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on the development team, where applicable. In addition the Application Developer will provide NAVSEA Unique COTS/GOTS Application Support, as well as SQL and Oracle database maintenance support to the legacy and future applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline
- 10 Years of experience OR a Bachelor’s degree in related discipline and 8+ years of equivalent experience.
- CS/IA certification; IAT level II Certification
- Active DOD Top Secret (TS) and be SCI eligible
