Our firm prides itself in quality design, high-end spaces for all healthcare sub-trades, including OSHPD facilities. Our firm has the belief of controlling our Design product into Construction to meet our client's expectations of quality.
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional with the abilities of an Architect or Project Manager to assist in leading a Design Team on Medical and Healthcare Type Projects.
This position requires:
• Eight to Ten plus years of current experience in management and design of architectural projects.
• Experience and background in commercial, medical and healthcare. OSHPD related project types a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of professional codes, laws, computer applications and design trends
• Current knowledge and experience with REVIT, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Internet, Sketch Up, Photoshop software
• Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
• Keen judgment and attention to detail
• Field investigation, measurements and calculations
• Record drawing creation, sketch and drawing interpretation
• Entitlement submission and approval
• Ability to interpret and apply regulations and code applications
• Skilled at effectively managing multiple tasks concurrently
Ideal candidate will perform the following in this position:
• Prepare Construction Documents from Schematic Design Conception prepared in conjunction with office design team.
• Coordinate all project tasks with job captains, project managers, interior designers, CAD/REVIT drafters, consulting engineers and their teams to ensure that they are within the project's schedule, scope, and budget
• Direct preliminary design through construction administration based on established project criteria, program and budget
• Cultivate new and maintain strong existing relationships with all parties involved in a project including clients, consultants, internal staff, review agencies, contractors and more
• Oversee quality control throughout the project's life cycle
Requirements
• Banchelors Degree, not required but a plus
• Must have reliable transportation
• Eager to learn and take direction
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
