Responsible for coordination of patient care in the perioperative environment. Manages staff members in the Perioperative Services. Consults with staff, physicians and Surgical Services Director on nursing issues and interpretation of hospital and unit policies and procedures to ensure patient needs are met. Actively participates in continuous quality improvement activities. Assists with budget requirements for the departments listed above.
Current California Registered Nurse licensure
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card (AHA)
Certification in specialty preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Minimum of four (4) years perioperative nursing experience
Minimum of two (2) years perioperative management experience
Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology Highly Preferred
