Assistant General Manager, Climate Pledge Arena at Delaware North

The Opportunity Delaware North Sportservice are searching for an Assistant General Manager to lead our team at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington. Our ideal Assistant General Manager takes great pride in their work and understands the impact you have on gamedays and other events which bring our guests together. You're an inspiring leader who understands that training and developing your team is critical to the operation and you manage people, processes, budgets, and expenses successfully and effectively. Responsibilities + Assist General Managers in setting short and long term departmental goals and objectives that cover a range of areas, including people development, company policies and operating budgets. + Hire, train, and develop the team and ensure all associates at the unit are supported and managed effectively in order to provide an optimal experience for guests and associates. + Adhere and enforce sanitation and health and safety procedures. + Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company regulations regarding sale of alcohol, OSHA, payroll, employment, and EEO guidelines. + Verify, prepare, and submit reports and monthly projections as required as well as ensure effective systems for cash, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place. + Maintain positive client and vendor relations through effective communication. + Become the designated leader when the General Manager is not at the unit. Qualifications + Minimum of 3 years' experience in a hospitality management role, preferably in a stadium environment. + Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent preferred. + Operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience required. + Strong managerial skills required; demonstrated initiative, leadership and team building skills are essential. + Strong commitment to customer and client service required. + Labor relations experience strongly preferred if unit is unionized.
