Assists in the oversight and management of up to twenty-five employees in the sales and service departments of the assigned retail location. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Jack Williams Tire policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing applicants; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions and percentages.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; spreadsheet software; contact management systems and database systems.
High School diploma or GED; or two to four years related retail management experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
