|Description||The Assistant Manager/Activity Director works within the Adult Day Health Program providing quality, stimulating, and enriching activities in a nurturing environment to adults with a variety of intellectual, behavioral, and medical challenges. Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, and implementation of activities, that offer the opportunity for community integration, effective communication and participation with members of a multidisciplinary team of medical and clinical staff, completion of required paperwork, supervising all aspects of the program and development of supportive and nurturing relationships with participants and their family members and caregivers. Providing direct care as needed.|
|Requirements||Bachelor’s Degree in social work or human services field strongly preferred, experience in an adult day health setting or work within an activities program, managerial experience, demonstrated ability to lead groups and organize activities, commitment to empowering adults and elders to live the most dignified and meaningful lives. Valid driver’s license and vehicle available for business use is required. Bilingual candidates (Spanish/English) are strongly encouraged to apply.|
