The Assistant Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will be a member of the Women’s Service Line leadership team and work alongside the Nurse Director Women’s and Children’s Services. The Assistant Nurse Director Labor and Delivery will be in charge of scheduling, assisting with hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions, and identify goals, objectives, and standards of care on the unit. Prior experience as a Charge Nurse Labor and Delivery or Assistant Nurse Manager Labor and Delivery is required for this important position.
The Labor and Delivery Unit in this busy medical center is 12 bed unit that is responsible for over 3000 births a year. This department has three designated Operating Rooms for C-Section babies and 5 OB triage rooms. A NICU is onsite for newborns and neonates that need additional specialized medical attention.
