Associate Consultant (Early in Career - Start Date Summer 2021) at Model N

As a new business analyst and technology consultant, your first week on the job will start off with an onboarding week giving you the foundational knowledge of our Life Science and High-Tech industries and core consulting skills. Model N believes in enabling our new hires with the tools and resources for success. This week will be followed by 12 weeks’ product training and job shadowing and with assigned mentors, a buddy from a previous class, and project managers to prepare you to be an active member of the team and in a client facing role. You will also hear from top executives and company leadership with an opportunity to meet and greet with the CEO and CXOs of the company.

Job Responsibilities

Associate Consultants at Model N work on implementation teams at customer engagements. You will have an opportunity to immerse in hands on business analyst and consulting work. Some project tasks include developing a deep understanding of the customer’s business requirements and use cases, creating functional requirements specifications, assisting with quality assurance testing, and helping train end-users of our application. Associate Consultants will be an integral member of our professional services teams and be expected to learn and be familiar with project implementation methodologies and project management activities.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• An interest in working directly with customers and partners
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply processes and methodologies
• Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
• A self-starter and able to work independently with support; passionate about working in a customer facing, fast-paced environment
• Flexible and willing to perform other tasks as assigned
• Hold an understanding of web technologies and applications
• Willing and able to travel from 50 – 80%
• Technical Skills: Java, SQL, Salesforce.com
• Majoring in Computer Science, Business, MIS or Technology Consulting
