As an Associate Director of social engagement QA, you will apply your extensive knowledge of Data Quality Assurance & Testing methodologies to manage quality and accuracy of social data pushed into Customer Data Platform (CDP). As strategic partner you will work with other leads in defining data taxonomy, data quality checks, guidelines and stewardship processes with respect to social media selling and marketing datasets. Define a DQ framework and KPIs to measure data quality, define and develop automated testing to scale-out. The role focusses on developing effective testing frameworks, building end to end test strategy encompassing automation (API/DB/UI level), data and environment, defining managing supporting people & processes, and DQ reports. Ensure and deliver high quality software with reusable automated test assets.
The ideal candidate in close partnership with project teams, QA team members help drive quality accountability, and work to ensure the end users receive reliable, stable, defect free end products, which help confidently execute their business and elevate their products. This role will report to the Director of Digital Data Enablement & Governance.
MAJOR ACTIVITIES
• Have deep understanding of the social media marketing tech stack and marketing/ social channel data
• Define and build end to end data test strategy encompassing automation, data and environment approach based on DQ rules, metadata standards and data taxonomy with respect to social data
• Provide tactical planning, agile execution and direction on testing, communications, and training materials and ensure recommendations are aligned with customer/organization needs and capabilities.
• Function as a trusted leadership team member, who collaborates with both project management and engineering partners to formalize the data taxonomy and DQ guidelines for business domains like Marketing, Campaigns, build consensus, resolve challenges, and ensures data and metadata standards are followed by stakeholders
• Define, document and adhere to QA processes and operational policies by building upon and improving what is already in-place at Novartis
• Drive data quality and standards across all social data vendors and channels and make them accountable for the quality of the data they supply and ensure they follow NVS data standards and guidelines
• Through the adoption of new methodologies, test automation, RPA and other advanced testing methods, provide leadership in certifying data leading to stakeholder’s trust in data
• Drive and facilitate the timely and quality data for orchestration of business initiatives like social selling, social media marketing, campaigns, surveys etc
• Track performance by closely monitoring the DQ reports and escalate/fix data issues identified
• Promote and drive innovation in technologies, processes, and tools for cutting-edge development
