# Job Description SummaryThe Associate Director, Strategic Account Analytics is an experienced technical leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers\. This individual will have advanced level skills in multiple technical domains including data modeling, data engineering, and business intelligence\. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of conveying complex scenarios and situations in an easy to consume and customer centric manner\. They are proactive, self\-driven, and possess the demonstrable ability to work independently\. This position will report to the Sr\. Director, Sales Analytics and support data science and analytics for the MMS Strategic IDN team through the development of an analytics environment, enterprise reporting and dashboards, and deployment of advanced models\. The ideal candidate for this position demonstrates a customer centric approach, is self\-motivated, has strong collaboration skills, and possesses a high level of creative problem solving abilities\.Successful candidates will have strong knowledge of ERP \(SAP, Oracle, etc\.\) business processes \(Finance, Logistics, order to cash, manufacturing, etc\.,\) and hands\-on experience with data integration and troubleshooting capabilities for diagnosing issues and opportunities with integration of data from the transactional systems to data warehouses\.# Job Description**Responsibilities**+ Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues+ Lead and execute the design, development, and analysis of data architecture and warehousing approaches to support analytics and reporting+ Perform business process re\-engineering on existing reporting and analytics and leverage new technology to create better ways to analyze and act on data+ Understand the business and be able to articulate their needs into technical specifications and solutions\.+ Performs cost analysis and financial modeling for sales opportunity analysis+ Participate in customer meetings to share ideas and findings+ Prioritizes and manages multiple projects at any given time+ Programs and writes queries and reports+ Develops and supports data warehouse\-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables\.+ Conducts training on use of applications developed\.+ Build and advocate data\-driven solutions that help improve internal and external processes+ Design and build scalable production\-ready analytics solutions using a wide array of techniques and methodologies in the field of business analytics+ Create dashboards and presentations to communicate analytic findings**Requirements**+ 3\-5 years’ experience of advanced analytics experience+ Demonstrable ability to present complex data and plans to diverse audiences\.+ Minimum bachelor’s degree in a technical related field with strong quantitative focus, master’s degree preferred+ Experience with SQL+ Substantial experience with tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI+ Demonstrable ability to translate data into a coherent, actionable, narrative+ Excellent data visualization skills+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills\.+ Ability to multi\-task and prioritize in a challenging, fast\-pasted, dynamic environment\.+ Strong analytical and organizational skills, detail orientated, and excellent interpersonal skills+ Must be able to effectively communicate with senior management and executivesBecton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer\.
