The Automobile Club of Southern California, founded in 1900, is the nation’s largest AAA-affiliated motor club, serving millions of members in twenty-one states. Best known for emergency roadside assistance, the Auto Club also provides a wide range of products and services, including: insurance, financial, travel, automotive, and member discounts.
Under guidance from the Brand Manager, the Associate Marketing Manager will develop, implement and manage Brand and Promotional marketing programs for multiple markets.
Design strategies and implement traffic building/acquisition campaigns that optimize marketing initiatives, meet goals and maintain optimum results at an efficient level.
Direct agencies and/or in-house creative teams on creative development for multi-media marketing campaigns.
Manage creative project workflow to implement creative campaigns and projects. Develop and maintain project plans/timelines, identifying project dependencies and liaise with internal marketing teams to ensure projects are completed on time. Provide reporting to business partners communicating current utilization and capacity levels, project statuses, and business specific backlog and project details. Run regular internal demand/capacity meetings to discuss new demand and associate capacity.
Monitor and analyze lead generation results for all campaigns on a weekly basis. Responsible for achieving lead generation and cost per lead goals in assigned markets by distribution channel.
Manage budgets for Direct and Field marketing plans, including vendor billing.
Ensure all marketing campaigns and materials meet legal and product compliance.
Monitor and review industry research and partner with product management and research teams to recommend marketing initiatives based on findings.
Collaborate with internal sales, branch operations and database partners to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.
Must be detailed oriented and possess direct response experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business is preferred.
5+ years’ experience in managing integrated marketing plans and budgets is preferred.
Requires strong knowledge of brand, direct marketing, merchandising and support of large-scale marketing/promotional efforts.
Must possess strong project management skills, be resourceful, highly organized and has clear and effective cross-functional communication abilities
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
Must have demonstrated ability to think creatively, utilize marketing analytics and research to effectively identify target markets, and incorporate segmentation and competitive analysis into innovative marketing programs.
Experience managing vendor and agency relationships required.
Must have the ability to manage a heavy workload and make decisions daily on managing competing priorities.
Attention to detail is mandatory.
Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe and Internet applications.
Successful completion of Auto Club pre-employment assessments, background and drug screenings.
