If you’re ready to bring insights and experience in areas such as IoT, Blockchain and digital transformation, we are ready to offer you a best in class career development. **Your Role and Responsibilities** Our Cognitive and Analytics practice is seeking an experienced Go To Market/business development lead and delivery of Cognitive/AI Solutions to State and Local clients in the United States, with an emphasis on Public Safety and Security. Responsibilities include: + Navigating S&L procurement process – working with Industry leads, lobbyists, contracting, etc. + S&L Client Relationship development in key states and accounts + Business Development/Sales Executive: Selling and progressing solutions sales, including developing Cognitive and Analytics Offerings, and driving sales strategy and execution + Talent Management & Delivery Oversight: Developing and overseeing IBM delivery resources, including career development and recruitment + At least 5 years of experience in domain knowledge in Public Safety, Security and/or Law Enforcement + Ability to demonstrate understanding of use of data/analytics with application in the Security, Safety and/or Law Enforcement area + Innovation: Contributing to overall State and Local GTM pursuits and thought leadership within IBM + Experience in closing Analytics/AI deals greater than $2M; with annual $2-3M+ Collaboration: Working within the IBM matrix to establish solutions that leverage the depth and breadth of IBM This individual will need to have the ability to communicate with C-Suite executives, establishing credibility and trust with the ability to work in a highly matrixed organization. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** + At least 10 years’ experience driving pursuits in State and Local Government, Education (SLE) entities/agencies, municipalities/cities. + At least 8 years’ experience in SLE leadership role (Director, VP level) + At least 5 years’ experience working in big data, data management, master data, and/or advanced analytics in SLE + Proven ability to story-tell/describe the effective use of data/analytics in an SLE context + At least 5 years track record of selling and closing $5 to $7M in sales per year + Demonstrated knowledge of SLE procurement practices and contract vehicles; understanding of/ability to work with lobbyists and business partners + Demonstrated ability and experience in progressing a pursuit from solution concept to design, and overseeing solutioning through delivery + Proven experience engaging in, and building relationships at the C-Suite level **Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise** + Deep network of SLE executive relationships (Director and above) **About Business Unit** IBM Services is a team of business, strategy and technology consultants that design, build, and run foundational systems and services that is the backbone of the world's economy.
