Associate Vet at Pulaski Animal Hospital

Seeking an associate veterinarian for a full or semi-full position in a busy Southwest side of Chicago, privately owned companion animal practice. Located near Midway airport, we are AAHA accredited and have been in business for over 50 years. We have a large experienced multi-lingual support staff, with extremely low turnover. The practice has 5 experienced veterinarians which provide opportunities for mentorship and learning. Teamwork is stressed both in the professional and lay staff and all members are happy to help a new associate grow. Outstanding client care and communication skills are a must as is strong diagnostic medicine.  Our multi-cultural, diverse clientele provides a widely varied caseload, well beyond everyday annual vaccines and new pet exams. Every day is a new day in which to test your knowledge and expertise. We are a neighborhood hospital that believes all animals deserve to have access to quality medicine. Surgical skills desired, but not required. The newly renovated practice, features a large in-house pharmacy, bright, modern treatment room and surgical suite, dental table, digital radiographs and ultrasound. Salary is competitive and negotiable.  Generous benefits package includes a sign- on bonus.  No after-hours emergency duty or call required. Work schedule from 35-40 hours per week.
