WSP is currently initiating a search for an Entry-Level Structural Engineer for our Briarcliff Manor, NY office. Duties and Responsibilities: *Occasionally visiting project sites to assist in determining existing conditions of small scale bridge/culvert structures *Preparing technical reports related to documentation and evaluation of inspection findings, analyses of feasible structural alternatives, and compilation of project related information into a summary document. *Client interaction, including preparation of agenda, attendance of meetings, and writing conference notes. *Performing and/or checking preliminary and final structural engineering calculations, plan production, and quantity / pricing calculations relating to municipal infrastructure projects. Minimum Qualifications: *Must be a Senior graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering *Graduating with a BSCE from an accredited University or College by May 2019 *The candidate is required to have a good understanding of civil engineering principles and practices *Have taken or is preparing to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam for Civil Engineering in New York State Preferred Qualifications *At least one prior internship experience within the civil engineering field is preferred *Experience and knowledge regarding use of Microstation and/or AutoCAD software is preferred About WSP USA WSP USA (formerly WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff) is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms—WSP.
