Successful candidate must have ability to determine, evaluate, and diagnose advanced video related connection issues and performance problems. Broad knowledge of AV infrastructure, strong understand of relationship btw audio, video, telecommunications technology components and software including: MCU, TMS, Cisco codecs, Microphones, AV amplifiers, Scalars, Multiplexers, Splitters, cable standards and other Audio-Visual technologies.
Experience in Client/Ticket Mgt, Sup & Troubleshooting; Tech Support/Maintenance ; Documentation; 1-3 Years of AV field implementation experience; Bach or Assoc in CS, IS or other related fields or equipment work exp. Consistent delivery on tasks, punctuality, and teamwork adaptability. professionalism and customer service needed as well as the ability to be flexible to understand and meet changing priorities.
Qualifications:
•1-3 Years of AV field implementation experience
•Bachelor's Degree or associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields or equivalent work experience Knowledge and Skills •Ability to determine, evaluate, and diagnose advanced video related connection issues and performance problems. Experienced with security infrastructure equipment operations and their functions
•Demonstrated punctuality and time management skills to make time sensitive appointments and meet client deadlines
•Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in a fast paced and high-pressure environment
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Background in network and video protocols and codecs to include: TCP/IP, H.323, SIP, G.711, G.729 and Cisco video codecs
•Ability to adapt technologies to meet changing business processes, and environments
•Knowledge of enterprise risk processes and best practices
•Broad knowledge of AV infrastructure, with strong understanding of the relationship between audio, video, telecommunications technology components and software including: MCU, TMS, Cisco codecs, Microphones, AV amplifiers, Scalars, Multiplexers, Splitters, cable standards and other Audio Visual technologies •Possesses and applies both specific, and broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in the field of specialization to the completion of assignments Other Requirements and Physical Requirements
•This position has an on-call function that requires 24/7 availability and support for high impact issues
•Must be able to lift AV equipment of 35+lbs
•Must be able to sit for extended periods of time

Responsibilities:
The Multimedia Technician provides user support in the area of technical conferencing and assists in the development, setup, monitoring, testing, and maintenance of technical conferencing solutions. Follows pre-existing processes and procedures to ensure consistent and high-quality service. The level of work is considered intermediate and the incumbent works under general supervision. This position does not have any direct reports.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities Client/Ticket Management, Support & Troubleshooting - 40%
•Manages support tickets from ticketing system and ensures a high level of client support and service
•Resolves routine identified issues utilizing pre-existing procedures and escalates as necessary to the proper source
•Troubleshoots AV, videoconferencing and audio-conferencing issues of moderate complexity (Level 1-3 support)
•Works with vendor(s) and other IT groups to resolve issues Technical Support/Maintenance- 30%
•Responsible for installation, setup, monitoring, testing, and maintaining conferencing technologies, including video, audio and network components, AV systems and other custom AV solutions
•Manages scheduling and customer communications for videoconferencing calls and AV conferencing
•Supports recording functions and multimedia distributions and scheduling Solutions Design & Development- 20%
•Assists in the development of audio, video, and data conferencing solutions using components such as televisions, monitors, user interfaces, microphones, cameras, codecs, AV processing equipment, and AMX control systems Documentation- 10%
