About the Job
POSITION #1: NEWLY LICENSED FAMILY LAWYER. IMMEDIATE COURTROOM LEARNING EXPERIENCE*****DAILY CLIENT CONTACT*****EXPERIENCED SUPERVISION
POSITION #2: EXPERIENCED STAFF ATTORNEY FOR FAMILY LAW, BANKRUPTCY, ADOPTION, AND ESTATE LAW
We are a rapidly growing multi-location Bucks County Family / Criminal Law Firm that is looking for a Pennsylvania Barred attorney to affiliate with us. This is an internship, training growth position after you have passed the bar. It is compensated accordingly. Our goal is for you to grow and gain real practice and courtroom experience, prepare for the bar exam, while learning family law from the ground up. You will be sitting second chair in trials your first week (once the courts reopen). You will be handling minor matters yourself (with close supervision) within a month. At all times, you will be sharing cases with veteran trial attorneys. This a position which will have you in court, actively litigating, from the get-go. Your training will be guided by highly experienced Bucks County attorneys who will take your growth in the profession seriously and responsibly. Until you pass the bar, this can be a full-time or part-time practical immersion in every aspect of family law in a very active practice.
We are also looking for an experience attorney to begin immediately in our active family law, bankruptcy, adoption, and estate department. If you already have a small practice, please consider the possibility or joining us and making use of our multiple location resources. If you returning to law after raising a family or some other absence, this could be an ideal position for reentering our profession. You will gain valuable experience, training and court time, working full or part-time. Some telecommuting is okay. We are sensitive to family demands and emergencies.
If you are currently practicing law in an area you find unfulfilling and want to learn an area of law which lets you help clients on a daily basis, this position may be right for you.
Candidates should have
1. Excellent legal writing and pleading skills.
2. A demonstrated history of and or desire to work with individuals under stress, in a client-centered, supportive fashion.
3. A strong sense of humor and a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and staff. We are a close-knit group who enjoy coming to work each morning. We are looking for an individual who can seamlessly integrate into our professional family.
4. Someone who resides in or close to Bucks County is ideal.
