HRHCare is currently seeking a full-time Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources department team in Peekskill. *Working from HRHCare's NYC Division is also an option for qualified candidate. The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the administration of HRHCare employee benefits through the maintenance, reporting and communication of employee data and organizational information for the medical, dental, life, disability, and ancillary plans. Activities include benefits enrollment and education, employee support and carrier/vendor interface. Reporting to the Director of Benefits and HRIS, the Benefits Coordinator also assists with the administration of the 403b, executive compensation, workers� compensation and leave programs for the organization.
Qualified candidates must have tactical experience across a broad spectrum of benefit plans and programs, including self-insured medical plans and 403b retirement savings plans. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of relevant regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, DOL, OSHA and COBRA. We are seeking a candidate with the ability to provide excellent employee support and service through strong interpersonal skills and effective follow through and attention to detail. Prior experience working in a healthcare provider environment is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of Human Resources experience with an emphasis on benefits administration. Successful candidates will have a Bachelor�s Degree in a related discipline, and PHR or CEBS certification. Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft.
