Benefits Specialist - Total Rewards Health & Wellness

The companys broader aftermarket product coverage, stronger distribution channels, and enhanced channel development will strengthen its position in established and high growth markets (China and India), and drive success through new mobility models and capturing evolving e-commerce opportunities.
We are looking for a Benefits Specialist to join the Total Rewards Health & Wellness team. This position will support the day to day operations associated with the Health and Welfare benefits program; acting as primary liaison with external and internal partners regarding inquiries, process and issue resolution.
The team is ready to act immediately on those candidates who are the best fit for the role. Youll first hear from someone in Talent Acquisition to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Hiring Manager. Provide support to location HR Managers on benefit related inquiries
Provide support for employee inquiries pertaining to new enrollments and life events
Day to day activities and issue resolution with third party administrators and benefits carriers
Coordination of benefit carrier annual renewals
Project lead for annual enrollment activities such as:
Point of contact with benefit carriers and third party administrator
Development and management of project timeline
Assist with ongoing compliance initiatives within the department
Assist with development of administrative rules and processes
Participate in employee communication review
Coordinate IRS and DOL filings
Provide support to internal and external audit requests
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education:Bachelors degree in a related field preferred.
Skills & Experience:
5+ years of progressively responsible Human Resources benefits experience
Demonstrated understanding of Group Benefits
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Office
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to multitask; prioritize and organize work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work in a team fostered environment and maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Knowledge of IRS Section 125 Cafeteria Plans
Knowledge of Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act
