It is redefining the tax preparation experience for individuals and small businesses with complex tax and business service needs. Block Advisors is seeking a District General Manager to lead a geographic district. We’re looking for a self-starter with entrepreneur attributes, with the ability to develop strategies to increase client retention and satisfaction for Block Advisor tax offices in the assigned geographic area. Someone who will embrace and direct the tax preparation business through the implementation of company policies, procedures, vision, and purpose. As a Block Advisors District General Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and executing Block Advisors year-round tax office initiatives to deliver an experience for clients that exceeds their expectations. You’ll direct tax planning needs that add value, retain clients, and drive referrals to the offices while developing and implementing plans to accelerate new client growth through local marketing initiatives. You will effectively engage and lead offices in your assigned district in a manner which attracts and retains clients, grows new business, and achieves overall business results. You will travel to assigned offices, with frequent remote interactions, to ensure consistent application and interpretation of company policies/procedures. You will champion client experience by ensuring every office associate is focused on easing the client’s tax-related stress by providing a welcoming and personalized service. In this role, you will sand utilize client feedback to drive decisions and prioritize client-focused change and serve as a brand ambassador to promote the Block Advisors brand within the community, to clients, and to associates. Exceed business results and rapidly gain market share by implementing a district-level market plan while holding Office Managers and associates accountable for business growth at office and individual levels, Utilize business data to make decisions to drive business results and implement business plans and identify district growth opportunities. Recruit, interview, and hire and onboard high caliber, top performing talent for key. Coach and elevate performance of associates through goal-setting, coaching, and providing timely feedback. Provide associate development opportunities, building a culture of recognition and focusing on associate retention, resulting in a high-performing, energized, and collaborative district team in alignment with the company’s vision and purpose. Attend and represent Block Advisors in various district events for associates in seasonal and non-seasonal positions.
