The Department of Radiology of the University of Minnesota Medical School seeks a full-time radiologist. Academic rank, compensation and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Both clinically focused and academic track applicants will be considered.
The University of Minnesota Department of Radiology is at the forefront of imaging in a region known for some of the nations best health care. The U of M is home to a large highly regarded ACGME approved residency and numerous fellowship programs. The department has consistently ranked in the top 20 in NIH funded research for over 5 years and is home to the Center for Magnetic Resonance Research (https://www.cmrr.umn.edu/), an internationally renowned center for ultra-high field MRI with some of the most advanced MR instrumentation in the world. An interest in research is encouraged and there are substantial departmental and institutional resources for research activities, though there is not a research requirement for this position.
