What will your role be?
As a Business Consultant for Life Science Pharmaceutical Industry in our North America Business Transformation organization, you will lead large and complex presales business consulting activities with leading biopharmaceutical and medical device organizations that are challenged daily with the complex relationships between product innovation, quality, regulatory compliance, and patient care.
You will conduct Value Engagement projects including: understanding customer business drivers, strategies, goals and objectives, identifying pains and opportunities for transformation, understanding current processes and defining and proposing improved processes and solutions, developing financial business cases to explain the value of these solutions, enabling our clients to meet their goals and fulfill their strategies.
Value Engagement is critical for quantifying and articulating staggering cost savings by improving drug development efficiencies, reduction in overall cost of quality, manufacturing process improvements and supply chain gains along with tangible revenue gains through improved drug pipelines and time to market.
• Collaborate with Life Science Industry Client Executives to develop transformational account strategies
• Provide thought leadership in the Life Science Pharmaceutical Industry for presales support of North America sales team
• Support account teams on qualification and engagement processes with their new and existing customers mapping business drivers to industry solutions.
• Lead consultative presales engagements with clients to raise their awareness of DS capabilities
• Create consulting services proposals and execute assigned consulting missions
• Discover, collect, and analyze customer business environment and challenges and determine aligned solutions
• Assess and document customer As-Is and propose To-Be business processes
• Develop Financial Business Case for both near-term opportunities as well as 3-5 year partnership agreements.
• Present findings to Executive / Head of department sponsors
• Maintain an understanding of the Dassault Systèmes solution capabilities and architecture
• Develop deliverables for reuse and enablement
• Support Request For Information / Request for Proposal processes
• Contribute to product roadmap by communicating client needs to R
Key Success Factors
• Strong Life Science and Pharmaceutical industry, business consulting, operations, and finance experience
• Master’s degree in Business, or related degree and experience preferred
• 10+ years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Industry
• 5+ years in a Business Consulting role
• Software presales experience preferred
• Knowledge of Biopharmaceutical and/or medical device industry best practices, methods, processes, and business operations
• Knowledge of industry software solutions and technologies for improving research, development, quality, and manufacturing
• Experience with consulting practices and process improvement
• Financial acumen, developing and delivering compelling financial business cases
• Experience working in a product delivery environment
• Effective executive level communication, presentation, and compelling message development experience
• Proficient in developing and maintaining executive level relationships
• Understanding of Dassault Systemes company, mission, and solutions a plus
