ResponsibilitiesThe Business Development Manager (BDM) reports into the Managing Director and has primary responsibility for developing and managing client relationships. Specific responsibilities include:Interact with leading executives in the field of corporate IT and Talent Acquisition to proactively develop relationships supporting interim staff and direct hire requirementsPlan and execute on a weekly combination of outbound prospecting phone calls and in-person sales meetings with hiring managersDevelop and manage a system of regular contact with Key Contacts across a target client roster. Manage regular marketing follow up utilizing the firm’s tools including email, marketing slicks, sales letters and other collaterals.Consultative Sales - Stay current on trends in information technology, software, business processes and strategies in corporate IT to consult with clients on optimizing their human capital. Coordinate intake meetings and conference calls between clients and your Recruiting Delivery Team to facilitate execution on job orders BackgroundMinimum of 2+ years inside/outside sales experience with a company that has a metrics related sales philosophyStaffing industry sales experience is a plusBachelor’s degree requiredStrong written communication skills- ability to construct thoughtful and impactful communication directed at prospects is requiredStrong verbal communication skills- ability to communicate clearly and appropriately over the phone and in person Compensation and BenefitsThe $60 billion human capital industry is projected to grow in excess of 6% in the next decade and to be the second largest industry in terms of job creation in U.S. economy.
