About the Role
Houzz is looking for a world-class Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Quantitative Marketing Team of Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineers. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of our data systems. You will need to create rock solid datasets that are the source of truth for the analytics and data science teams. The ideal candidate will be a skilled developer, proficient in Python, with experience in tagging and data collection and with a passion for business intelligence, data organization and automation.
About the Team
The mission of the Quantitative Marketing Team is to assist Houzz’s growth and monetization efforts by improving the return we get on our marketing spend. We use data driven insights, advanced analytics, machine learning and optimization algorithms to solve problems such as user click prediction, conversion rate and conversion value prediction, multi-touch attribution of marketing spend, media mix modeling, and customer lifetime value prediction. We solve core engineering problems of building and managing the data infrastructure, creating and scaling API integrations to support a variety of channels and vendors.
