Fluent BioSciences Inc. is an early-stage biotechnology company with a novel technology for ultra-sensitive genomic analysis. We are looking for high-energy, self-motivated individuals who thrive on the intensity of a startup environment. This role will evolve as the company changes and will report to the CEO but will also be the go-to person for management and staff. To thrive in this role you will need a “no task is too big nor too small” attitude.
Requirements and desired experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- First-rate organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Step in to assist with back-office functions as needed
- Bookkeeping, purchasing, and order entry
- Facilities, logistics, and planning
- Must be very comfortable working with and implementing technology platforms
- Experience with biology lab operations helpful but not required
- Experience with HR helpful but not required.
In light of the current business challenges posed by the public health crisis, applicants must be able to work remotely, yet have the flexibility to come into the office in Watertown on short notice. It is likely these arrangements will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
