Assists Manager in coordinating activities of Business Office Staff to effectively improve hospital cash flow by maintaining an efficient revenue cycle.
Compiles statistical reports and analysis and provides to various leaders.
Initiates ideas and suggestions for work procedures, keeps time and attendance records, and expedites work flow.
Works with Manager to assign duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and performance to policies and procedures.
Works with outside collection agencies to assign accounts and recall accounts when necessary.
High School Diploma and some college.
5 years hospital business office. Knowledge of JCAHO and state regulations for both acute and skilled nursing facilities. Basic computer knowledge. Ability to work with physicians in a collaborative manner. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Prefer additional languages.
