JOB TITLE: Systems Analyst
Responsible for supporting information management needs of various workflows across the Store organization through project coordination, application implementation and administration, technical guidance and training, as well as ongoing maintenance or enhancements. Create reporting and analysis of system data to communicate compliance of use, and provide visibility to store leadership regarding performance. Interpret data and prepare proposals for immediate resolution of opportunities areas and recommendations for future enhancements to maximize the use and effectiveness of the application.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide functional and systems assistance for various Spectrum Store applications and support with administration of Kronos Workforce Forecasting and Scheduling (WF/WS) modules.
Create written functional specifications for production support development and act as a testing resource for support maintenance requests, new deployments and issues that arise for Spectrum Store Applications
Analyze user requirements; maintain in-house written systems interfaces between various systems.
Conduct production support, software upgrades, and regular audits, to ensure compliance on the use of applications.
Create detailed functional and technical design documents including business process flows (BPF), test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios and documentation.
Participate as a subject matter expert in the creation of user guides and training materials
Participate as a systems testing resource as needed for Spectrum Store system application implementation and deployment.
Act as the liaison between Spectrum Stores and other departments for requests for access to systems; ensuring appropriate approval is in place.
Serve as an escalation point for advanced system/technology issues to determine root cause analysis, identify and implement potential solutions for Spectrum Store applications
Responsible for administering security by approving security requests, setting up new users, and answering security-related questions
Responsible for configuring systems to meet user requests or organizational changes; ensuring compliance or adherence to preset requirements or rules governing the application use and configuration.
Maintain working knowledge of all systems and applications to understand software/data/reporting needs
Create standard reports, review output for accuracy, and interpret data to evaluate effectiveness of the application. Provide regular summary status reports, and proposals for immediate remediation to opportunities found as well as recommendations for future enhancements or improvements to maximize the effectiveness and use of the application.
Run interfaces between databases and vendors during implementations or as scheduled.
Research system information to ensure data integrity and assist with correction of data errors.
Create and maintain database of employee, locational and system information.
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Extensive knowledge of a retail work environment
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft systems including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Demonstrated experience in continuous process improvement, including technology upgrades and implementation
Ability to effectively interact, partner and influence staff in various levels of the organization
Strong organizational skills to meet multi-task workload; detail oriented with strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills
Strong customer service orientation
Strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience developing and implementing solutions to issues
Strong facilitator, skilled at leading projects and initiatives
Proven ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Knowledge of Kronos Workforce Central v6.3 or higher to support systems
College coursework in Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
