KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a global manufacturing organization in their search for a Controller. The position will report to the Business Unit Vice President and will have significant business partnership responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of fifteen years of corporate finance and accounting experience with at least five years in a Controller position.
The position will be responsible for the following:
Supervise a staff of up to seven and have direct oversight of the general ledger, cost accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
Annual budgeting and forecasting
Completes financial analysis, Discounted Cash Flow, ROI, Make/Buy, Gross Margin and Pricing Proposals for new business opportunities and capital investments
Work closely with division executives to evaluate business results, evaluate risks and opportunities
Demonstrates strong understanding of GAAP and Cost Accounting
Ensures revenue recognition compliance
Monitors accounting policy and procedures maintaining a solid internal control environment
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA / CPA preferred
Solid background in Manufacturing finance, SEC Reporting, and SOX Compliance
Looking for a hands-on individual with the ability to see the big picture
Proven business partnership skills with the demonstrated ability to work in a matrix organizational environment
