**What We're Looking For** Senior Proficiency Level with emphasis in one or more areas of expertise. This advanced level may include supervisory responsibilities. Work duties may be narrowly focused or diverse. Examples of focus may include areas such as CADD management, 3D specialist, GIS Specialist, Engineering Technician Designer, and other areas of specialization. Will be knowledgeable in methods, techniques, and practices of the appropriate specialty. Primary Focus Will Include: + Working primarily with Transportation Design Team(s), and may also work with Aviation and/or Structural Design Teams + Working on diverse project types such as Design/Bid/Build or Design/Build, and in various office environments such as traditional, co-located with agency client, and/or co-located with contractor. Preferred Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelor's degree in Drafting technology or related discipline + 8 years related experience + MicroStation and AutoCAD experience + InRoads, Civil3D, and/or OpenRoads experience is a plus **What You'll Need** Essential Responsibilities: + Utilized as technical resource in project meetings and project design for area of specialty. + Researches best practices and maintains outside contact with other specialists.Acts as an internal and external point-of-contact for specialty area(s). May train others in related subject matter. + Prepares technical presentations, reports and analysis in area of specialty. + Fluent in the HNTB project management philosophy and may be responsible for project budgets, schedules and progress reporting at a task level. + Interacts regularly with clients at the staff level. + May perform technical reviews for other projects in area of specialty. + May be responsible for managing a project team in area of specialty and coordinating work with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects. + Performs other duties as assigned.
