- Contact prospective individuals by telephone (500 in bound calls) to promote services and/or charitable causes
- Explain the product or service to potential customers
- Obtain customer information including names and addresses
- Record customer details including reaction to the product or service offered
- Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers
- Answer telephone calls from potential customers who are responding to advertisements
- Contact customers to follow up on initial interaction
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training in customer service within a retail or hospitality capacity
- Prior experience working with a call center
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable in sales and telemarketing
- Knowledge of office operations, workflow analysis, and current technologies in telecommunications, data entry, and file management
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
