Housing is provided, position requires the employee to live onsite to provide 24 hour emergency cover...JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Associates degree or equivalent in a related field or evidence of continuing education in facilities management or relevant years of experience.
Background in facility management and the maintenance of recreational properties (preferably 3-4 years)
Must be skilled in carpentry, plumbing, minor repair of machinery, landscaping, minor electrical repair, and water and sewer systems.
Ability to work evenings and weekends and to travel occasionally.
Must be proficient in Microsoft office programs.
Self-directed with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work well with volunteers and to resolve conflicts.
Effective written and oral communication skills
Courteous and team-oriented manner with public and co-workers
Capable of handling multiple tasks in an environment of frequent deadlines and shifting priorities
Knowledge of Girl Scout policies and processes is helpful
Previous experience in budgeting is helpful
Must have or immediately obtain a current valid Texas Driver’s License and required liability insurance.
Will submit check requests, daily and monthly reports to the Director of Facilities.
Yearly membership in GSUSA is required.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending and twisting upper body.
Capable of lifting up to 50lbs unassisted.
Ability to work in outdoor seasonal heat and cold.

A criminal background check is required.
