Reconcile and resolve unsecured balances and positions in client accounts for the whole of Citi's Global Institutional Sales desks.
Reconcile numerous accounts within multiple branch offices globally.
Assist in the resolution of aged risk items and escalate accordingly to senior management, sales desks and directly with the clients.
Balance and reconcile all individually assigned accounts for the delegated branch office.
Relating to the settlement of unsecured and secured transactions ensure that the agents have correct instructions to settle all outstanding transactions.
Monitor, update, communicate and resolve all unsecured transactions within the assigned client account base to the appropriate client, trading desk, client agent, internal Citibank department and senior Citibank management. All must be completed within department’s timeframes.
Assume other department members responsibilities during absences.
Complete and resolve client inquiries in a courteous and timely manner.
Assist in the development, maintenance and enhancement of reconciliation systems and exposure reporting for the department's use as well as for senior management.
? Bachelor’s degree preferred
? Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in financial services
? Knowledge of fixed income and equity products a plus
? Strong analytical, problem solving and PC skills including Excel
? Ability to work independently and handle a highly stressful environment
? Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
? Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
