Must work weekends, nights, and holidays
Guards Casino property and guests against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry
Patrols buildings and grounds of the Casino and related areas, this includes examining doors, windows and gates to determine that they are secure
Maintain a working knowledge of applicable laws pertaining to the gaming industry.
Warns violators of hours, gaming rule infractions and drinking violations
Apprehends persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
Inspects equipment and machinery to ascertain if tampering has occurred
Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, health hazards and security hazards to the Security Manager/Supervisor.
Notify the Security Control room in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
Observes departing personnel to guard against theft of company property
Permits authorized persons to enter the property
Records data such as property damage, unusual occurrences and malfunctioning of equipment or machinery
All other duties as assigned
Must be age 21 or older and qualify for a gaming license
High School diploma or GED.Some college preferred.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
Have the ability to write incident reports and to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Security, military or police experience preferred
Must be physically fit, requires standing, walking, bending
May be required to lift up to 30 pounds
Must have good vision (corrected 20.20)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
