Cracker Barrel is seeking a Catering Sales Manager to help drive the strategy and vision for our Cracker Barrel Catering Business within the Greater Birmingham and Huntsville Market. Our Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining new business generated through direct sales efforts, events, and networking.
Our ideal candidate will have a background in catering sales or restaurant operations, strong relationship building skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and will embody our mission of ‘Pleasing People’ by providing exceptional catering experiences. Applicants must also be willing to work a variety of shifts including nights and weekends depending on the business need.
- Develop targeted sales plans each month to achieve catering sales goals with leadership
- Produce new business through marketing tactics/activities with local business, planning groups and associations while maintaining a professional relationship with existing accounts
- Build Guest relationships through phone communication, personal visits and community involvement
- In collaboration with DM / GM / and Off- Premise Team, work with stores on execution processes and procedures while reinforcing training materials to improve Off-Premise
- Attend General Manager meetings to present off-premise area results and updates
- Support Off-Premise training at the store level
High school diploma and minimum 2 years’ of Sales Experience Required. Restaurant Preferred.
- Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and ability to maintain passing MVR checks required
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including food and beverage sales required
- Experience in restaurant catering sales strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM preferred
