Feldman Lumber�is expanding our team! �We are currently hiring for CDL A and B Drivers.
1.�������Ensure quality of work done at the highest level possible.
2.�������Deliver material to job site and determine whether or not ground conditions and buildings are suitable for unloading of material.
3.�������Supervise the loading and unloading of your truck ensuring the security of the material in transit.
4.�������Ensure the proper placement of material at job site while maintaining safety standards.
5.�������Direct the action of any helpers, loader, unloaders, etc.
6.�������Handle the collection of money on COD deliveries.
7.�������Ensure that receipt of material is acknowledged before leaving the job site.
8.�������Prepare daily vehicle inspections reports and driver logs in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.�
9.�������Report vehicle maintenance issues promptly.
10.�����Represent the Company in a courteous and professional manner.
11.�����Perform all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
1.� � � �Sit and operate vehicle and other mechanical equipment 70-80% of the day.
2.� � � �Lift 100 pounds up to a height of 6 feet.
3.� � � �Carry 100 pounds over a distance exceeding 12 feet.
4.� � � �Push 100 pounds in a wheeled cart.
5.� � � �Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop or squat to floor level.
6.� � � �Frequently must reach overhead to grasp materials.
7.� � � �Frequently climb on and off the truck.
1.���������Required to work safely outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
2.���������Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
3.���������Frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
4.���������Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and fumes or airborne particles.
5.���������Noise level in work environment is usually moderate.
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS & ABILITIES:
1.���������High School Diploma.
2.���������CDL License and a clean driving record.
3.���������2+ years experience operating a commercial motor vehicle.
4.���������Must be able to follow instructions both oral and written.
5.���������Must display knowledge of materials and products.
6.���������Must be able to read, write and do arithmetic.
7.���������Must be able to communicate calmly, clearly and effectively.
