Minimum of 1 year experience in healthcare materials management preferred.

|Job Description:||Essential Functions|
Responsible for the inventory receipt, delivery, and restocking of par stations and issuing of emergency supplies to customers as required.
Maintains par areas: labeling, organization, rotation of stock, removal of supplies for credit, assessment of proper par levels and departmental product requirements.
Uses hand-held computer to inventory par stations; downloads data at workstation, producing pick tickets that are processed and delivered to each departmental area.
Processes departmental manual notebook orders and delivers in a timely manner.
Answers the telephone and processes customer requests.
Correctly receives shipments from UPS, DHL, and FedEx vendors. Inputs into computer system and delivers to designated locations in a timely manner.
Maintains an organized and clean work area and dock staging area at all times.
Ensures the hospital’s U.S. mail is processed in an efficient and timely manner.
Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
Respects the rights and privacy of others and holds staff member information in strict confidence.
Maintains regular attendance and complies with time and attendance policy and procedure.
Adheres to South Lake Hospital’s policies and procedures; Mission, Vision and Values statements; Code of Conduct.
Ensures compliance with all regulatory standards including Federal, State, local and Joint Commission.
Prioritizes workload to manage multiple priorities.

Other Related Functions
Properly files paperwork for all shipments daily.
Communicates and maintains correct par level for all supplies in Central Supply storeroom and forms in the volunteer print shop.
Performs cycle counts as requested and assures the documentation of inventory supplies.
Authorized to enter areas where medication is stored for the purpose of stocking/inventory of supplies.
Performs other related duties as needed.
