Certified Medical Assistant, Granite State Internal Medicine, Full Time, Days at CMC

Assists and provides clinical and administrative support to the valve clinic program.  Assists with patient examinations, schedules procedures, diagnostic studies, and treatment as required. Obtains patient and clinical data for the structural heart program and enters data into computer systems.  Performs general administrative duties in accordance with Joint Commission, CLIA, NCQA and government standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

Education:                              

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program.
• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) Must have passed the certification exam for Medical Assistant.

Experience:                            

• One year related work experience in a medical office.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Licensure/Certification:

• BLS certified.  If not BLS certified, must obtain BLS certification prior to completion of orientation, not to exceed 21 days from date of hire with Catholic Medical Center.  Must maintain BLS throughout employment.
• CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) Must have passed the certification exam for Medical Assistant.
