Olympic Sports & Spine (OSS) is looking for full-time athletic trainers in the Puyallup, Graham, Kent and Federal Way, regions of WA. Athletic trainers at OSS have two primary responsibilities: (1) provide comprehensive athletic training services for an assigned high school during the fall, winter and spring, including game and practice coverage, and other on-site obligations, and (2) provide rehabilitation services for a patient case load in the clinic.
The high school-based work requires collaboration with school administrators, coaches, team physicians, athletes and parents. We want athletic trainers to feel a genuine "ownership" of the assigned school. All athletic trainers are provided great independence in representing the OSS brand while simultaneously receiving direct, immediate and expert support from the OSS team. In the clinic, athletic trainers will have the opportunity to care for a variety of patients in a supportive environment that is well-regarded for clinical mentorship.
Candidates must hold at degree in athletic training, BOC certification, BLS Certification, and licensure in the state of Washington by the estimated start date of August 3, 2020. Candidates must also be able to perform the physical demands of the job.
