SUMMARY OF JOB:
Responsible for direct patient care under the direction of the Practice providers including vital signs, immunizations, venipuncture, EKGs, and assistance with in-office procedures. Some care varies by specialty of the physicians. The CMA reviews the medical record, understands quality of care metrics and health conditions of patients. The CMA uses the EMR for documentation and abides by HIPAA. The CMA creates an exceptional experience during each patient encounter by providing a warm welcome, a fond farewell, and by delivering competent, compassionate, and respectful clinical care; and, effectively communicates and interacts with other members of the care team.

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:
