Certified Medical Assistant at Siskin Children's Institute

The Siskin Center for Developmental Pediatrics is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing clinical team in the Nashville area. The CMA will perform administrative and clinical duties under the direction of the medical practitioners. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs, medical histories, rooming patients and retrieving phone messages for providers. Administrative duties include making referrals, entering histories into electronic medical records system, and other duties as assigned.

Benefits include:

Four-day work week (Monday - Thursday)

Hourly rate of pay $17.00-18.00 an hour

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Paid Winter break - Christmas Eve through New Year's Day

Qualified candidates must possess the following:

Education: Graduate from Certified Medical Assistant program

Experience and other Requirements:

• Experience in a pediatric center required; Experience with children with special needs preferred
• Fast learner, detail oriented with excellent follow through
• Strong team player
• Demonstrates flexibility
• Knowledge and ability to work in accordance with clinical standards
• Must be able to work Monday through Thursday from 8:00am - 6:00pm

License/Certification: Certified as a CMA from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
