Your Daily Responsibilities Will Include:
? Prior to patient visit, prepare electronic chart and reconcile records as needed
? Greet and prepare patients for physician appointment; obtain and record vital signs and other information required for the patient facesheet in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
? Order, record, and administer immunizations, when appropriate.
? Print unsigned documents for providers and check order tracking throughout the day.
? Draw blood, process labs, perform x-rays, and obtain non-invasive body fluid specimens
? Under supervision of practitioner or nurse supervisor, administer approved medications and inform patients of lab results
? Ensure the clinic operates smoothly and is well kept; prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment. Keep exam rooms clean, orderly and stocked. Dispose of contaminated items
? Anticipate practitioner s needs for medications, supplies and equipment, and plan accordingly
? Stay up to date with weekly/monthly internal communication emails and activities
This Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire opportunity pays $23-26 per hour and has openings in Bothell Totem Lake (Kirkland), Downtown Redmond and Redmond Ridge. About the Candidate We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
? Graduate of a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program
? Demonstrated ability to perform professionally and confidentially while strictly maintaining HIPAA guidelines
? Must have a Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified or Medical Assistant-Interim certificate. If you have an Interim certificate, you must have your certified certificate before the Interim expires.
? CPR certification preferred
