|Description||Part Time opportunity, which requires the gathering of financial data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.|
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Comply with the Location’s attendance/tardiness standards.
•Compiles and sorts documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
•Monitors the purchasing of fuel as well as dispensing of fuel, determine excessive fuel losses and improper fuel dispensing.
•Maintains accurate records of fuel inventories, checks and confirm deliveries, processes supplier's credit cards and other approved credit cards for payment.
•Verifies and posts details of business transactions, such as funds received and disbursed, and totals accounts.
•Computes and records charges, refunds, cost of lost or damaged goods, freight charges, rentals, and similar items.
•Types vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
•Reconciles bank statements.
•Interfaces with external venders and customers regarding invoices issued and received.
•Interfaces with internal department managers and their supervisors to verify daily operations.
•Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
