The Department of Vascular Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, Florida has a faculty position opening for a well-qualified Vascular Surgeon to join a growing cardiovascular practice within an expanding regional healthcare system.
Resources include a dedicated hybrid biplane operating suite, an accredited Vascular laboratory and collaboration with the Department of Vascular Medicine. Outpatient clinics are conducted at Cleveland Clinic Florida main campus ans well as at two satellite offices. Venous procedures can be performed at two outpatient ambulatory surgery centers. The Cleveland Clinic Florida has a robust solid organ and heart transplant program, contributing to a high level of complexity in this tertiary referral center.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 year's experience and will bring a strong clinical background with proficiency in all aspects of vascular care, including endovascular interventions as well as traditional open vascular surgical procedures for both arterial and venous disease. Experience in complex aortic procedures and TCAR is desirable.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team that is coordinating clinical care, research, education and strategic growth of Cleveland Clinic Florida's heart and vascular services in collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic heart and Vascular Institute in Ohio. The vascular Surgery service plays an integral role in mentoring residents in our General Surgery residency program. Research is encouraged and supported by Vascular Surgery departmental research funds.
