DescriptionTheclinical dietitian develops nutrition care plans by assessing, coordinating,implementing, monitoring, evaluating and documenting care in the patient’selectronic health record. She/he acts as a resource for nutrition expertise andcollaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient care needs. The clinical dietitian demonstrates knowledgeof current medical nutrition therapy (MNT), current principles of nutritionsupport, nutrition counseling skills, and education and presentation skills.The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, good critical thinkingability and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics or anequivalent field. The candidate isregistered (RD) with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Certified (CD)by the State of Wisconsin Department of Regulation and Licensing.

Certificationas a dietitian (state of WI requirement) is required within 6 months of hireThe clinical dietitian participates in arequired rotation for weekend and holiday coverage.
