The Clinical Research Coordinator I will collect and manage patient and laboratory data for clinical research studies. Responsibilities include maintenance of computerized databases for patient demographic and clinical research data. Serves as a resource for physicians, nurses and other members of the health care team with regard to all protocol related requirements.
Qualifications: BA, BS or AA in Health related field including course work in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, medical records, and information management. Work related experience or Clinical Research Certification may be considered as substitute for degree requirement. One year medical clinical trials experience preferred, including word processing and computerized database experience.
Basic knowledge of Medical terminology and Good Clinical Practices.
Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure, pay attention to detail, meet deadlines and work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
