|Working Title||Clinical Research Mgr|
We are seeking a Clinical Research Manager who is motivated, highly organized, and detailed-oriented to carry out research and quality improvement activities in the Division of Adolescent Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. The successful applicant should have strong skills in leadership, program/project management, supervision, education/training, research and quality improvement methods, human subjects protection, data management/interpretation and written/verbal communication. She/he should be a team player with the ability to establish priorities and effectively manage several projects concurrently.
The Clinical Research Manager will serve as the primary coordinator of research and quality improvement activities for the Division of Adolescent Medicine, and should feel comfortable interacting with and managing research and quality improvement teams, which may include faculty, health educators, clinical providers and staff, informatics and biostatistics/data management personnel, administrative staff, residents, medical students and graduate students in the UNM Health Sciences Center, community hospitals and clinics and various other collaborators. The Clinical Research Manager will be responsible for monitoring and directing the work of other professionals in the Division. .
Specific tasks may include: design and execution of research protocols and quality improvement projects; recruitment of sites and participants; teaching/training project staff, collaborators, and participants; oversight and organization of data/measure collection activities; monitoring budget expenditures and preparing budget revisions; monitoring use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; outreach and dissemination activities; writing research reports, abstracts, manuscripts, and grant/contract proposals; assigning work to other team members, as appropriate; resolving day-to-day problems; and other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by project primary investigators

Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Future and/or continued employment in the position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a satisfactory background check, which is one that does not include any disqualifying findings.|
