The Clinical Support Tech 2 is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. The Clinical Support Tech 2 works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care and are a valued member of the patient care team. Job may require patient registration, deployment of legal, ethical and compliance related documents that must be presented and thoroughly explained to the patient at time of registration or during care.
Degrees: High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper Licenses Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Basic Life Support Pediatric Advanced Life Support Paramedic Licensed Practical Nurse Additional Qualifications: Required: Basic knowledge of typing and filing. Preferred: Knowledge of insurance contracts, collections, medical terminology, bilingual. Off Campus Emergency Department requires BLS-Basic Life Support, ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support and PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Minimum Required Experience: Less than 1 year
