The Clinical Support Tech 1 is a staff position responsible for providing basic technical patient care skills under the direction and supervision of the licensed healthcare practitioner. The Clinical Support Tech 1 works in close collaboration with an assigned licensed healthcare practitioner to provide safe and quality patient care and are a valued member of the patient care team. Job requires patient registration experience, deployment of legal, ethical and compliance related documents that must be presented and thoroughly explained to the patient at time of registration or during care.
High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED or equivalent training or experience required. BLS certification is required.
EMT or PMD is preferred. CNA license or Medical Assistant certification or registration required. Basic knowledge of typing and filing. Preferred: basic X-ray license, knowledge of insurance contracts, collections, medical terminology or bilingual.
Schedule: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts including weekends & holidays
